A beautifully and brightly colored one-sheet poster advertising the release of Gala Day at Disneyland. The documentary featurette was distributed in 1960, highlighting the three new "E" Ticket attractions that opened the previous summer. The film promoted the 147-foot-tall Matterhorn Bobsleds as the first tubular steel coaster in the world, and the first roller-coaster attraction at Disneyland Resort. The Monorail was advertised as a futuristic transportation system that traveled along a single rail, and the first of its kind to operate in the United States. Finally, the opening of the Submarine Voyage to give visitors a tour of a mysterious lagoon, featuring mystical creatures of all sorts. Measuring 41"x27", the one-sheet promotional poster is in good condition with surface and edge wear from age and handling including small spots of image wear, and minor wear to the distribution folds. The poster is presented in a simple square black wood frame.
