A miniature figurine inspired by the classic Disney Studios animated film, "Dumbo" (1941). Featuring the adorable big eared elephant in a yellow hat, the ceramic figurine was created by Californian ceramists Hagen Renaker in the 1950s. Hagen Renaker was licensed to produce Disney ceramics for only a short time during the late 1950s. According to Walt Disney, they produced "the finest three-dimensional reproductions of (the animated) drawings that he ever saw." Measuring 1.5"x2" and 1.5" tall, the figurine is in good condition with no miniature feather on Dumbo's trunk, a broken tail and crazing.
